Quail Run Farms ceased operation  in 1999, when I moved from Salem, IN to Putnam County, West Virginia.  It was, for about 20 years, a small hobby breeding operation specializing in quail and pheasant.  I now live in Hurricane, West Virginia and no longer have the space or the time to raise birds.
Quail species I have had experience raising included: Bobwhite, Mexican Speckle, Gamble, and Tennessee Red. Pheasant Species include: Red Golden Pheasant, Yellow Golden Pheasant, and Silver Pheasant.

For almost 20 years, I  raised game birds, including several varieties of quail, pheasant, partridge and even some finch.  Due to other commitments, in the last few years I raised birds,  I concentrated on just a few species of quail and pheasant.  I  moved out of Indiana and found it necessary to sell all of my birds.  I am no longer taking orders for hatching eggs or birds.
