WCHS Meeting Yields More Photos for Washington County Book
Willie Harlen and Adam King

We had one of the largest turn-outs for a June meeting last Saturday, June 28, that we had ever had. Adam Clayton King gave a very interesting program. He showed the pictures he had of cemeteries, houses, buildings, etc. around Washington County for the Washington County Interim Report. There were several field Surveyors here including Tim Boscarino, Scott Brown, and Adam Clayton King that we had helped at the Stevens’ Museum Genealogical Library.

We all took Adam under our wing because he was such a nice young man. Richard Dixon took him around to the cemeteries which helped him a lot as they are hard to find. His parents and girl friend accompanied him from Louisville. He now has a position in Hardin County, Kentucky.

We have the Washington County Interim Report book for sale at the Museum for $20.00. They will not be for sale anywhere else until August. Since we had Adam doing our program his boss Amanda Jones brought us some books.
